HELP WANTED: We have an immediate opening for a full-time, certified veterinary technician. Experience is a MUST. Applicant must be enthusiastic, dependable, detail-oriented, and a team player. Our Vet Techs are utilized to their fullest potential. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: assisting Dr's in exam room and surgery, drawing lab samples, placing catheters, inducing and maintaining anesthesia, dental prophys, taking and developing digital radiographs, and client education. Competitive salary and benefits including health, IRA, CE, discounted vet services, vacation, sick and personal time. No weekends or holidays.
We have an opening for a full-time pet care technician in our lodging facility. Experience preferred, but willing to train. Applicant must be enthusiastic, dependable, detail-oriented, and a team player. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: cleaning, feeding, bathing of boarding dogs and cats, laundry, playtime supervision, carrying weight of up to 40 lbs, and some customer service. Comp. salary and benefits including health, IRA, CE, discounted vet services, vacation, sick and personal time. Weekends AND Holidays are a MUST.

Hospital News: 4th of July parade in orleans on Saturday the 4th. We are looking for clients who would like to walk their well-behaved, leash-trained, dog and people-loving, dogs in this years parade with our float. Our theme is heading to the beach, so you can dress your dog up like they are heading to the beach, or we may have some patriotic bandannas for them to wear. Please let us know if you are interested in attending, and we will give you the hours we are meeting etc...

THE SANTANA FUND
“Helping less fortunate patients of the Animal Hospital of Orleans and their families”
 The Santana Fund was created by Dr. Karen Bohon and the health care team at the Animal Hospital of Orleans to provide financial assistance for the veterinary care of sick or strayed Cape Cod animals. In memory of Dr. Bohon’s first dog, the Santana Fund exists to provide an alternative to euthanasia and preserve the importance of the human-animal bond.
The Animal Hospital of Orleans matches all private donations to the Santana Fund, and directly applies all resources to needy Animal Hospital of Orleans patients and their families.
